Cathryn J. Wilson, 76, passed away at 7:15pm on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at LaBella of Alton. She was born on November 6, 1948, in Alton, the daughter of the late Charles and Agnes (Henning) Williamson. Survivors include two daughters and a son in law: Leslie and Scott Hensley of Paducah, Kentucky, Candis Wilson of Wood River, a son: Bubba Wilson of Bethalto, seven grandchildren: Charlie, Elizabeth, Tabitha (Robert), Brandon, DJ, Tiffaney, Nathan, sixteen great grandchildren, a great great grandson, a sister: Betty Mugge of Alton, and many other extended family and friends.


Cathryn was employed for over twenty years as a bartender and server at Ten Pin in Alton. She loved playing the slots and playing bingo.


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great granddaughter: Rebecca, and a brother: Richard Williamson.


In celebration of her life, visitation will be from 10am until time of funeral services at 12pm on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Pastor Dan Smith will officiate. Burial will follow at Upper Alton Cemetery in Alton.


Memorials are suggested to the 5A’s and will be accepted at the funeral home.
