David M. Gregory

Alton: David M. Gregory, 41, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2019, in Alton. He was born on December 7, 1977, in Alton, the son of Walter and Carol (Karcher) Gregory of Dow. He married Jessica Kirk on March 31, 2011, in Alton, and she survives. Other survivors include two daughters: Amber Sky Gregory of Alton, Autumn Rayne Gregory of Alton, a son: Daymon Kirk of Alton, two foster children: Layne Bell and Rainey Bell, a sister and brother in law: Diana and Ron Root of Dow, a brother and sister in law: Jake and Michelle Gregory of Wisconsin, two nephews: Brandon, Gregory, three nieces: Josephine, Elena, Danielle, his father in law and mother in law: Wesley and Janis (Kirk) Fish, and many other extended family and friends. David was employed at Aramark Uniform Services in St. Louis. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues fan. He loved softball, spending time with his kids, Yoda, Star Wars, playing board games, and video games. In celebration of his life, memorial visitation will be from 5pm until time of service at 7pm on Monday, September 2, 2019, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Memorials are suggested to the family in care of Jessica Kirk – Gregory and will be accepted at the funeral home.
