Timothy "Tim" Jay Couch

Timothy “Tim” Jay Couch, 63, of Cottage Hills, IL passed away peacefully in his home on August 12, 2021. Tim was born to Virginia and William “Vic” Couch on May 22, 1958. Tim attended Edwardsville High School and became a talented carpenter, owning his own business. He was very charismatic, had a charming sense of humor, and a great big heart. He especially enjoyed riding his motorcycle, both on the road and on the track. He is preceded in death by his parents, younger sister, Tammi Couch, and nephew Kristopher Lipe. Tim is survived by his children, Timothy W. Couch (Amanda) of Edwardsville, IL, Ashleigh Murphy (Mike) of Glen Carbon, IL, and Justin McCord of Troy, IL; five grandchildren; siblings, Victoria Ray (Carol Berry) of Edwardsville, IL, Victor Couch of Medora, IL; nieces Shawnta’ Harmon (Rick) of Edwardsville, IL and Shanna Boyer of Decatur, IL; and three grand-nephews. A celebration of life ride will be planned at a later date. The family will hold a private memorial service.
