Worden: Alma L. Baker, 86, passed away at 5:40pm on Tuesday, October 14, 2014, at Edwardsville Nursing and Rehab. She was born on August 11, 1928, in Erin, Tennessee the daughter of the late Samuel and Laura Smith. Survivors include one daughter and son in law: Brenda and Joe Revelle of Worden, two sons and daughters in law: Larry and Cindy Miller of Potosi, Missouri, Keith and Tammy Miller of East Alton, her grandchildren and their spouses: Stacey and Dallas Haynes, Leonard and Arlette Miller, Rachel and Steve Hill, Hoyt Miller, Marlin and Kim Miller, Dwayne Miller, Lacey and Tim Diveley, Larry and Jolena Miller Jr., Tim Miller, Brian and Becky Miller, David Miller, Theresa Miller, and Lisa Miller, several great grandchildren, several great – great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and other extended family. She was formerly employed as a cashier at Thrifty Drugs now known as CVS in Wilshire Village. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson: Danny Means Jr., eight brothers and sisters: Robert, Bud, James, Charlie, Louise, Liz, Sangey, and Jeanette. In celebration of her life, visitation will be from 9am until time of funeral services at 11am on Monday, October 20, 2014, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Rev. Henry Crippen will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon. Memorials are suggested to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation or the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
