Amara Moon Smith

St. Louis: Amara Moon Smith, infant daughter of Elbert “Ebby” Smith III and Jordan Sanders passed away at 11:17pm on Friday, June 21, 2019, at SSM St. Mary’s Hospital in St. Louis. She was born on June 20, 2019, in St. Louis. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister: Bailey Marie Smith of St. Louis, her maternal grandparents: Jeff and Sue Sanders of East Alton, her paternal grandparents: Elbert Smith, Jr. and Wyvonne Roberson of St. Louis, her maternal great grandparents: Danny and Brenda Sanders of East Alton, her paternal great grandparents: Richard and Marsha Roberson of St. Louis, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family. In celebration of her life, memorial services will be held at 11am on Saturday, June 29, 2019, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Private inurnment will be at a later date at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
