Anna Boettcher

Bethalto: Anna Boettcher, 75, passed away at 5:45pm on Sunday, December 6, 2020, at Barnes – Jewish in St. Louis. She was born on August 7, 1945, in Chicago, the daughter of the late Orville and Geraldine (Wiseman) Prehn. She married Robert Boettcher on September 13, 1963, in Jerseyville, and he preceded her in death on December 25, 2016. Survivors include a daughter and son in law: Tammy and Dennis Clements of Bethalto, one son: Ted Boettcher and his companion: LaDon Mick of Rosewood Heights, three grandchildren: Jeremy Clements, Jacob Clements, Julianna Clements and her fiance’: Jay Zirkelbach, and her sister in law: Cheri Prehn of Alton. Anna was employed for many years as a nurse at Barnes – Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Bethalto. In addition to her parents and her husband: Robert Boettcher, she was preceded in death by one brother: Bill Prehn. In celebration of her life, cremation rites will be accorded. Due to the current Covid – 19 restrictions, no services will be held at this time. Memorials are suggested to Zion Lutheran Church in Bethalto.
