Barbara J, Hale - Lattimore

Alton: Barbara J. Hale – Lattimore, 69, went to be with Jesus on Monday, October 13, 2014, at Alton Nursing and Rehab. She fought heart problems, COPD, and lung cancer. God saw that she was suffering and opened his arms and took her home. She was born on June 1, 1945, in Alton, Illinois the daughter of the late Larry and Erma (Dietz) Hale. Survivors include a beloved niece: Abby Hale, one sister in law: Mary Beth Hale, and her caretaker, guardian, and friend: Sherri Enlow Russell. A graduate of East Alton – Wood River High School, she was employed as a legal secretary for 42 years until her retirement in 2008. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: Larry Hale, and a nephew: Patrick Hale. In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Memorial services will be held at 5pm on Thursday, October 16, 2014, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Pastor Bryan Enlow will officiate.
