Bau Tran

Alton: Bau Tran, 70, passed away at 6:05am on Saturday, August 18, 2018, at Alton Memorial Hospital. He was born on July 12, 1948, in Dongxing, China, the son of the late Fangqiu and Zuoying (Huang) Tran. He married Muoi Tam on July 14, 1976, in Vietnam, and she survives. Other survivors include a son and daughter in law: John and Becky Tran of Cleveland, Ohio, one grandson: Alec Tran of Cleveland, Ohio, two brothers: Puquan Tran of China, Bingquan Tran of China, and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. Bau and his wife owned and operated the Hong Kong House in Upper Alton. In his younger years, he helped the United States military in Vietnam. In accordance with his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials are suggested to BJC Hospice of Alton.
