Belinda Joyce Lindley

Alton: Belinda Joyce Lindley, 65, passed away at 5:28pm on Saturday, October 14, 2017, at Christian Hospital Northeast. She was born on September 24, 1952, in Cairo, Illinois, the daughter of the late Willard L. and Anita C. (Moorehead) Heater. Survivors include two sons and a daughter in law: Timothy and Stacey Lindley of Wood River, Nathan Lindley of Alton, and a grandson: Avery Lindley. A homemaker, Belinda enjoyed art including painting ceramics, working with gourds, wood burning, stained glass, and other media. She enjoyed taking care of her pets, teaching art classes, and spending time with her grandson. In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials are suggested to the Metro East Humane Society.
