Beverly J. Mccormick

Alton: Beverly J. McCormick, 74, passed away at 2:46pm on Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at OSF St. Anthony’s Hospital in Alton. She was born on October 21, 1940, in California, the daughter of the late Wanda (Schmidt) Teatlebaum. She married Gerald McCormick and he preceded her in death in 2000. Survivors include two daughters: Dena Wood of Brighton, Candace McCormick of Brighton, one son: Rick Wood of Bloomington, Illinois, seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and one sister: Brenda of St. Louis. A homemaker, she loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals. She enjoyed gambling and loved spending time with her family. In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. In celebration of her life, memorial visitation will be from 5pm to 7pm on Friday, September 18, 2015, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Memorials are suggested to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
