Bobbie Barnett

Bobbie Barnett, 66, passed away at 3:02pm on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Barnes – Jewish Hospital. She was born on July 23, 1959, in Alton, the daughter of the late Daniel Moore. She married Kevin Barnett on July 5, 1980, in East Alton. Kevin and his two sons, daughter in law, and grandchildren live on: Jeremy and Melissa Barnett of Wood River, Timothy Barnett of Wood River, two grandchildren: Caden Barnett, Aurora Barnett, her dogs: River and Xena, and many other extended family and friends.

Bobbie worked as a cosmetologist for many years out of her home and taught cosmetology for a few years as well. Bobbie did massage therapy and also taught massage therapy as well. She loved crafting, knitting, and made scarfs and gloves for the homeless.

In addition to her dad, she was preceded in death by a sister: Debbie Moore.

A celebration of Bobbie’s life will be from 12pm to 4pm on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the Wood River Township Hall, 49 South Ninth Street, East Alton, Illinois, 62024.
