Alton: Bradley Wayne Elledge, 63, passed away peacefully at his home on June 29, 2017 at 9:20am. He is survived by his mother, Wanda Elledge, of Alton. His father, Virgil Glen Elledge, preceded him in death in 2003. He married Debra Price on August 6, 1983, she survives. Also surviving are two daughters Shelley (Nolan) Ragan (Bethalto) & Jessica Elledge of Osage Beach, MO as well as step son David Wells of Davenport, IA brothers Jeff (Brenda) of College Station, TX, Greg (Carolyn) of Murphy, NC, and Tim (Lorrie) of Bethalto numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends. He held a special place in his heart for his two grandchildren Max and Raylee Ragan. He graduated Roxana High School in 1972 and Rankin Technical College thereafter, he went on to become shop foreman at Authorized Auto Supply in Wood River for 18 years before retiring. Brad was a master machinist, member of the District No 9, International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. He enjoyed spending time at various automotive and performance shops in the area working on "junk." Brad was loved and admired by everyone he knew. He will be loved and greatly missed. A Celebration of life will take place at the Cottage Hills VFW on Saturday July 1, 2017, at 2pm. Our family welcomes everyone to gather and share memories of our loved one. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Scleroderma Foundation or BJC Hospice Foundation of Alton.
