Bethalto: Brenda S. Hyman, 62, passed away at 12:10am on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at her residence. She was born on March 20, 1957, in Wood River, the daughter of the late Charles R. and Nellie C. (Ragan) Stuller, Jr. She married John C. Hyman on June 3, 1987, in Alton, and he survives. Other survivors include two sons and daughters in law: Jaymie and Sonya Wallace of Fidelity, Illinois, David and Shirlene Wallace of Hazelwood, Missouri, three grandchildren: James Thomas Wallace, John Charles Wallace, Jacob David Wallace, one sister and brother in law: Linda and Bob Brandt of Godfrey, three brothers and a sister in law: James and Meg Stuller of Troy, Illinois, Michael Stuller of Wood River, Alan Stuller of Florida, and many other extended family and friends. Brenda was formerly employed as a mental health technician at the Alton Mental Health Center. She enjoyed painting, crocheting, and breeding teacup chihuahua’s. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Charles and David. In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. The family will hold a wake service beginning at 12pm on Saturday, August 24, 2019, at Brenda’s house which is located at 160 Virginia Street in Bethalto.
