Bruce A. Ahlin

Godfrey: Bruce A. Ahlin, 27, passed away at 10:17pm on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, in the emergency room at OSF St. Anthony’s Hospital in Alton from COVID -19 complications. He was born on March 4, 1993, in Escanaba, Michigan, the son of Michele Ahlin of Alton. He married Samantha Beets on April 18, 2020, in Edwardsville, and she survives. Other survivors include his daughter: Findley Ahlin of the home, four sisters and two brothers in law: Lillie and Travis Fletcher of Granite City and their two daughters, Krista and Tyler Gambrill of Edwardsville and their two sons, Gabriel Ahlin of Alton, Genevieve Ahlin of Alton, his brothers and sisters in law: Levi and Beth Ahlin of Jerseyville and their two daughters, Ricky and Joanna Ahlin of Kalistell, Montana and their son and daughter, Tyler and Ramona Beets of Alton, two nieces: Riley and Allie, his grandparents: Richard and Phyllis Findley of Grafton, his in laws: Beth Beets of Alton, Tom and Debbie Beets of Alton, and many other extended family and friends. Bruce was employed at Enterprise Rent A Car where he was a management trainee. He was a member of Abundant Life in Wood River. He was a member of the National Guard. He loved his family, loved God, and loved to sing. Cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials are suggested to the family.
