Bruce Pickett

Cottage Hills: Bruce Pickett, 62, passed away at 8:43pm on Friday, March 25, 2022, at OSF St. Anthony’s Hospital in Alton. He was born on April 16, 1959, in Wood River the son of the late Harold and Vernice (Baker) Pickett. He married the former Karen Tague on April 16, 1987, in Edwardsville, and she survives. Other survivors include two daughters and sons in law: Bobbi Jo and Dustin Radick of Cottage Hills, Danielle and Aaron Wright of Bethalto, three grandchildren: Jaxon, Ethan, Dorsey, and many other extended family and friends. Bruce was formerly employed as a technician at Residential Heating and Cooling in Cottage Hills. He loved tinkering with cars, collecting antiques, and he loved his dog: Tank. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Ricky Pickett. In celebration of his life, memorial visitation will be from 5pm to 7pm on Friday, April 1, 2022, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Memorials are suggested to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
