Carl E. Klabough

Granite City: Carl E. Klabough, 41, passed away at 5:59am on Sunday, September 11, 2016, at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City. He was born on March 17, 1975, in Alton, the son of the late Carlos “Sonny” Bishop and Joyce P. (Dickenson) Klabough. Survivors include three sons: Marcus Vowels of Alton, Carl “C.J.” Klabough of East Alton, Trent Klabough of East Alton, his fiance’: Janay McLaughlin of Granite City, four sisters: Vicky Heeren of Bunker Hill, Jonna Carroll and her husband: Denny of Bunker Hill, Ronda Geisler of East Alton, Barbara Jean Watson of Granite City, six brothers: Bob Melone and his wife: Phylis of Wood River, Dennis Butler and his wife: Lisa of Dorsey, Danny Butler of Shipman, Stanley Bishop of Mississippi, Carlos Bishop, Noah Bishop, and his niece and nephew whom he was very close to Amanda Ingrham and Stevie Heeren. He was formerly employed as a butcher at Sav A Lot in Alton. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his dog Daisy. In accordance with his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. In celebration of his life, memorial visitation will be from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday, September 15, 2016, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Memorials are suggested to Janay McLaughlin and will be accepted at the funeral home.
