Carol Elson

Hartford: Carol Elson, 67, passed away at 10:46am on Friday, January 21, 2022, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in St. Charles, Missouri. She was born on March 4, 1954, in Carrollton, Illinois, the daughter of the late Charles and Maude (Dalton) Morell. She married Thomas Elson on December 1, 2006, in Edwardsville, and he preceded October 28, 2011. Survivors include two sons and a daughter in law: Ernest Morell of Godfrey, Martin and Christina Baker of Pevely, Missouri, two grandchildren: James, Dalton, two brothers: Charles Morell of Jerseyville, John Morell of Jerseyville, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. Carol was formerly employed as a trainer at Beverly Farm Foundation. In addition to her parents and her husband, Carol was preceded in death by her sister: Sandra Valdez. In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials are suggested to the Beverly Farm Foundation.
