Carol S. Stillwell

Rosewood Heights: Carol S. Stillwell, 77, passed away at 7:50pm on Saturday, July 13, 2019, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville. She was born on November 22, 1941, in Alton, the daughter of the late Carson and Francis (Zimmerman) Muncie. She married William Stillwell on September 12, 1964, in Bethalto, and he preceded her in death in 1994. Survivors include a daughter: Kim Stewart of Rosewood Heights, two grandchildren: Kris Stillwell and his fiancé: Mercedes Smith of East Alton, Ashley Shelton of Rosewood Heights, a great grandson: Caden Smith, a brother and sister in law: Robert and Linda Muncie of Mulberry Grove, Illinois. Carol was formerly employed at the Cottage Hills Dry Cleaners. She was a foster grandparent. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her aunt: Ruth Zimmerman. Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials are suggested to the Riverbend Pet Food Pantry/SNIP Alliance, #2 Emma Kraus Lane, Alton, Illinois 62002.
