Merritt Island, Florida Chelsea Suzanne Murphy, 27, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 30, 2019, in Merritt Island, Florida. She was born June 10, 1992 in Jerseyville, Illinois, to Steve and Janice (Crider) Murphy of Merritt Island, Florida, a sister and brother in law: Ashley and James Davis of DeSoto, Missouri, four nieces: Halle Perdun, Gianna, Kayli and Makenna Davis, one nephew: Drake Davis, her partner: Ashley Henderson, her grandparents: Dude and Shirley Crider of Cave in Rock, Illinois, and many other extended family and friends. Chelsea lit up the Room everywhere she went. She enjoyed music, singing, going to the beach, creating jewelry and planting fairy gardens. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Milton and Georgia Lowe, Bill and Mary Murphy, and an Aunt, Uncle, and cousin. In celebration of her life, memorial visitation will be from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday, December 28, 2019, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. In lieu of flowers donations are being accepted to the family to cover funeral cost.
