Clinton Ross

Wood River: Clinton Ross, 49, passed away at 12:14am on Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at Alton Memorial Hospital. He was born on May 20, 1971, in Alton, the son of Linda (Overton) Ross of Wood River and the late Tommy Ross. In addition to his mother, survivors include a sister: Kimberly Michelle Meyer of Wildwood, Missouri, two nephews: Eric Grindstaff, Michael Meyer, and aunts and uncles: Lois and Bob Rea of South Roxana, Marie Sellier of Sun City, Arizona, Barb Overton of South Roxana, Andrea Overton of Macon, Georgia, Nellie Eveland of Hemet, California, many cousins, and other extended family and friends. Clinton formerly lived in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He was formerly employed in management at Target and Starbucks. In celebration of his life, graveside services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana. Pastor Dan Smith will officiate. Due to the current Covid – 19 restrictions, face masks will be required and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
