Connie L. Lane

Godfrey: Connie L. Lane, 72, passed away at 11:02am on Friday, May 15, 2020, at her residence. She was born April 12, 1948, in Normal, Oregon, the daughter of the late Leo and Margaret (Bradshaw) Lacey. She married James Robert “Bobby” Lane on December 29, 1966, in Alton, and he preceded her in death in 2008. Survivors include four daughters and a son in law: Linda and Jim Surinck of Bullhead City, Arizona, Tammy Halleman of Alton, Julie Miller of Godfrey, Tina Lane of Wood River, three sons: Jimmy Lane and his companion: Kay Mott of Godfrey, Tim Lane of East Alton, James Lane of Alton, several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several great – great grandchildren, two sisters and a brother in law: Mary Sadler of Jerseyville, Loretta and Richard Schneider of Florida, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. Connie was formerly employed at D’Adrian Convalescent Center in Godfrey and Goodwill. She was a member of Abundant Life Church in Alton. She was very family oriented, loved the St. Louis Cardinals, and doing laundry. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. Due to the COVID – 19 restrictions, private services and burial will be Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.
