Wood River:

Craig Johnson, 67, passed away at 1:23pm on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at his residence. He was born on March 9, 1957, in Wood River, the son of Shirley (Fraser) Johnson of Bethalto and the late William C. “Bill” Johnson. In addition to his mom, Craig is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A 1976 graduate of Roxana High School, Craig was formerly employed as a driver at Smit’s Flowers in Wood River and later as a driver for Auto Zone in Wood River.

In celebration of his life, visitation will be from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Following visitation and in accordance with his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.

Memorials are suggested to the Roxana Schools Foundation and will be accepted at the funeral home.
