Darlene Kaid

Portage Des Sioux: Darlene Kaid, 58, passed away at 5:07pm on Friday, January 8, 2021, at SSM St. Joseph’s Hospital in St. Charles, Missouri. She was born on October 30, 1962, in Bad Wenshiem, Germany, the daughter of the late Dennis and Rosewitha (Curtis) Kaid. Survivors include a daughter: Amber Malone of East Alton, a son and daughter in law: Cody and Sara Malone of Bethalto, six grandchildren: Landon, Addyson, Carsen, Mason, Jaydon, Noah, a sister and brother in law: Valery and Mark Parker of Alton, a brother and sister in law: Bobby and Ginette Kaid of Utah, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. Darlene was employed at Olin in the production department for many years. Cremation rites will be accorded. In celebration of her life, a private memorial service will be held. Memorials are suggested to the family.
