Dave Robinson

Alton:

Dave Robinson, 57, passed away at 9:35pm on Saturday, December 21, 2204, at Alton Memorial Hospital. He was born on March 16, 1967, in Alton, the son of the late Freeman and Sharon (Butler) Robinson. Survivors include a daughter and son in law: Dezarea (Roger Denton) Robinson, a granddaughter: Laura Denton, a sister and brother in law: Starla and Royce Dempsey of Imperial, Missouri, three brothers and a sister in law: Mark Robinson of Schaumburg, Illinois, Chris Robinson of Alton, Freeman and Cheryl Robinson of Godfrey, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.

Dave was formerly employed at Laclede Steel and later worked at Alter Barge Lines. He was a veteran of the United States Army where he served in the Persian Gulf War. Some of his favorite past times were reading Army magazines, setting up his solar panels, making his own ammunition and spending time with his racoons.

Cremation rites will be accorded. In celebration of his life, graveside services will be held at 1pm on Monday, March 31, 2025, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with full military honors.
