Deanne Runyon

Wood River: Deanne L. Runyon, 76, passed away at 8:12pm on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at Alton Memorial Hospital. She was born on February 22, 1946, in Alton, the daughter of the late Charles and Virginia (Unterbrink) Wilkey. She marred Chris Runyon on August 10, 1968, in Murray, Kentucky, and he survives. Other survivors include a daughter and son in law: Theresa and Timothy Barton of Bethalto, Michael and Natalie Runyon of Godfrey, twelve grandchildren: Ashley (Brian) Martinez, Timothy Barton, Eliana and Tom McBee, Madeline Runyon, Meghan Runyon, Bella Runyon, Jude Runyon, Eva Runyon, Joyanna Runyon, Sophie Runyon, Brooklyn Runyon, Emilia Runyon, five great grandchildren: Chloe McPherson, Reese McPherson, Graeme Martinez, Foster Martinez, Hayden Barton, a sister: Mary Fulcher of Calvert City, Kentucky, a brother: Michael Wilkey of Roxana, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. A homemaker, Deanne enjoyed shopping and loved spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister: Barbara. In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Private memorial services will be held. Memorials are suggested to the American Liver Foundation.
