Debbie R. Schoonover

Rosewood Heights: Debbie R. (Brooks) Schoonover, 65, passed away at 6:45 pm on Monday, January 4, 2021, at her residence. She was born on February 26, 1955, in Wood River, she was the daughter of the late William and Betty Jane (Miller) Brooks. She married Terry Schoonover on May 11, 1982 in St. Louis. Debbie was formerly employed as the manager at the Clark Station in Roxana. She is survived by her children: Dennis (Amy) Daugherty, Jr. of Wood River, Donald (Kim) Daugherty of Silverhill, Alabama, and Melissa Daugherty of Moro; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her siblings: Donald (Lynn) Schien of New York, Linda (Kenny) Summer of Girard, Sue Brawley of Hartford; two step-brothers Woody (Kathie) Daugherty and Dennis Daugherty, Sr. both of Wood River; several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-mother Bessie (Warren-Daugherty) Brooks and step-sister Wilma Warren. Cremation rites will be accorded. In celebration of her life, a celebration will be held at a later date.
