Debra Hinds

Granite City: Debra Hinds, 68, passed away at 8:06pm on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Gateway Regional Medical Center. She was born on December 31, 1953, in St. Louis, the daughter of Herbert and Shirley (Haselhorst) Reisinger of Collinsville. She married Richard Hinds in 1981 and he preceded her in death on March 7, 2012. In addition to her parents, she is survived by two daughters and a son in law: Kimberley Terry of Granite City, Kelly and Randy Christy of Granite City, a son: Kevin Deason of Granite City, her grandchildren: Alisa Lofink, Lindsey Frazier, Morgan Lofink, Adam Deason, Evan Christy, Isabel Christy, Michael Terry, two great grandchildren: Brayden Lee, Addison Lee, two sisters and brothers in law: Judy and Gerald Jackson of Troy, Illinois, Karen and Hwai Yang of St. Louis, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. Debra was formerly employed as a school bus driver for Illinois Central School Bus Systems. She enjoyed playing bingo. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister: Geri Dillard. In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials are suggested to her grandchildren.
