Denise Sweet, 57, passed away at 1:23pm on Monday, August 31, 2026, at her residence. She was born on December 15, 1968, in Alton, the daughter of the late Harold and Delores (Plopper) Sweet. Survivors include two sons: Alec Whitworth of Moro, Zachary Key of Jerseyville, and many other extended family and friends.
Denise was a very talented artist who loved roses, cooking, crafting, cleaning, and interior design.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: Brian Tungett, and her favorite cat: Oscar.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.
