Diana Elizabeth Grant

East Alton: Diana Elizabeth Grant, 50, passed away at 3:12pm on Wednesday, February 25, 2015, at Barnes – Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. She was born on February 1, 1965, in Wood River, Illinois the daughter of Leslie and Dolores (Hoormann) Murphy of South Roxana. Survivors include one daughter: Tiffany Grant of Wisconsin, one son: Dustin Grant of East Alton, two sisters and brothers in law: Teresa and Ron Landers of Bunker Hill, Joan and Dane Mills of Granite City, one brother: Jeffory Murphy of Godfrey, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, her fiance’: Michael Smith of East Alton, and many other extended family and friends who loved her and will miss her. She was employed at Dollar General in Wood River as a checker. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter: Brittany and one brother: Gregory Murphy. In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Memorial visitation will be from 6pm to 8pm on Monday, March 2, 2015, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Memorials are suggested to the family in care of Teresa Landers and will be accepted at the funeral home.
