Donna Lane

Donna Lane, 62, passed away at 10:43am on Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Alton. She was born on August 27, 1951, in Wood River, Illinois the daughter of the late Morris and Shirley (Rucker) Naylor. She married Jimmy Lane on February 14, 1984, in Alton and he survives. Other survivors include four daughters and three sons in law: Paula and Eddie Rappel of Brighton, Chrissy and David Draper of Bethalto, Michelle and Rick Plumb of Godfrey, Missy Cummines of Jerseyville, three sons and a daughter in law: Paul and Nikie Cummines of Shipman, Pat Cummines of Godfrey, T.J. Gaffney of Godfrey, twenty three grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, three sisters and two brothers in law: Vickey Naylor of Godfrey, Kathy and Wayne Draper of Brighton, Barb and Rick Rhoades of Alton, two brothers: Jerry Naylor of Godfrey, Michael Monroe of Alton, three half – sisters, one half – brother, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and her mother in law: Connie Lane of Godfrey. She was formerly employed as a nurse at Granite Nursing and Rehab. She loved motorcycle riding. She enjoyed vacations, camping, fishing, and her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death in death by her father in law. In celebration of her life, visitation will be from 4pm to 8pm on Friday, June 6, 2014, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Funeral services will be held at 9:30am on Saturday, June 7, 2014, at the funeral home. Rev. Tim Naylor will officiate. Burial will follow at Upper Alton Cemetery in Alton. Memorials are suggested to the family.
