Dot Kelly, 69, passed away at 8:50am on Monday, March 2, 2026, at her residence. She was born on March 2, 1957, Sacramento, California, the daughter of the late Donald and Dorothy (Hastings) Blake. She married Rick Kelly on March 15, 1974, in Alton, and he survives. Other survivors include a daughter and son in law: Christie and Bobby Rickman of Godfrey, a son and daughter in law: Craig and Gini Kelly of East Alton, four grandchildren: Gwendolyn, Aubrey, Kyle, Brett, two sisters and a brother in law: Jeannie and Marty Porter of Shiloh, Diana Jumper of Rosewood Heights, her sister in law: Peggy Wonnacott of Alton, her doggies: Kody, Riley, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.

A homemaker, Dot lived for her kids and her grandkids. She was a proud Nana. She was very active in the Relay For Life Riverbend – Team Imagine. Dot loved camping and going on RV trips with her family. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Alton and Ivy Heights Church of God in Wood River.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son: Chad Dayle Kelly and a sister: Donna.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Private services will be held. Inurnment will be at a later date at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
