Earl Drummond

Earl Drummond, 79, passed away at 10:58pm on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Alton Memorial Hospital. He was born on September 14, 1943, in Dover, Arkansas, the son of the late Otis and Leatha Drummond. He married the former Josie Barboza Lemus in 1985 and she survives. Other survivors include a son and daughter in law: Earl and Tracey Drummond, two step sons and their wives: Philip and Lisa Lemus, Bob and Martha Lemus, a step daughter and her husband: Terri and Jim Marr, his grandchildren: Blake Drummond, Zach Drummond, Dillon Drummond, Roger Jackson, Nathan Haynes, Eric Lemus, Andrew Lemus, his great grandchildren: Eleanor Drummond, Emilia Drummond, Bentley Jackson, Delaney Jackson, one brother: Paul Drummond, and many other extended family and friends.

Earl worked at Edwin Cooper, Alcoa, and later at Ethyl prior to his retirement. He was a Shriner and he loved to work on his farm in Ava, Missouri.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Bobby Drummond, two sisters: Ella Jean and Christian.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Private celebration of life services will be held.
