Edward W. Lander

Wood River: Edward W. Lander, 77, passed away at 4:05am on Friday, October 18, 2019, at Integrity Healthcare of Wood River. He was born on December 2, 1941, in Lakeway, Missouri, the son of the late Russell and Leone (Wymore) Lander. Survivors include a brother and sister in law: Bill and Sarah Lander of Clever, Missouri, two nephews: Michael Lander, Scott Lander, many cousins, his wonderful church family and other friends. Ed was employed at Sports Service. He was a member of Leclaire Christian Church in Edwardsville. In accordance with his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. In celebration of his life, memorial services will be held at 10am on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, at Leclaire Christian Church in Edwardsville. Pastor Andy Turner will officiate. Burial with full military rites will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Leclaire Christian Church.
