Gloria A. Keith

Bethalto: Gloria A. Keith, 80, passed away at 2:15pm on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at Fountain View Memory Care in Granite City. She was born on November 13, 1937, in Alton, the daughter of the late Charles E. and Agnes V. (Spurgeon) Goble. She married Jack O. Keith, Jr. on July 10, 1956, in Alton, and he preceded her in death on October 9, 2008. Survivors include four daughters and three sons in law: Karen and Mark Stromske of Indiana, Kyla Drake of Alabama, Karine and Thomas Keith of Alton, Kelly and Eric Chester of Bethalto, nine grandchildren: Nick Stromske and his companion: Devan Clegg, Daniel Stromske, Adam Drake, Erika Jones and her husband: Jake, Jessica Drake, Vanessa Keith, Samantha Keith, Derian Chester, Kaleigh Chester, one great granddaughter: Zoie Stromske, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends Gloria was a member of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Alton prior to its closing and is a current member of Our Lady Queen of Peace in Bethalto. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one brother: Gary Goble. In celebration of her life, visitation will be from 10am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11am on Monday, January 8, 2018, at Our Lady Queen of Peace in Bethalto. Father Tom Liebler will be the celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Alton. Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer’s Association.
