Gracie Williams, 67, was reunited with open arms with her mom Josephine (Marmino) Williams at 4:16am on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at Alton Memorial Hospital. She was born on February 5, 1956, in Wood River, the daughter of the late Josephine (Marmino) Williams. Survivors who love and miss her dearly include a daughter: Shannon Williams (Antonio Rocha) of East Alton, a son: Bronson Williams of East Alton, a grandson: Mark Vann Jr. (Megan Hess) of Edwardsville, two sisters and a brother in law: Mary Ann and Danny Drainer of Crossville, Tennessee, Cheryl Williams of East Alton, a brother and sister in law: Ernie and Vicky Williams of Alton, her cats and dog(s) that she loves very much, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.

In addition to her mom, she was preceded in death by a sister: Rosetta “Rosie” Carter, two brothers: Sammy Lee Williams, and Sammie Williams.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.
