Greg S. Mcclery

Alton: Greg S. McClery, 56, passed away at 7:40pm on Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at his residence. He was born on February 4, 1959, in East St. Louis, Illinois the son of Jean (Perry) McClery and the late Robert McClery. Survivors include one daughter and son in law: Angela and Ian Collins of Granite City, two grandchildren: Atlantis Collins, Arran Collins, two brothers and sisters in law: Bobby and Karen McClery of Wood River, Alan and Barbara McClery of Granite City, two sisters: Annie Boyer of Florida, Laura Boyer of Florida, his step mother: Laura McClery of Granite City, several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. He loved the outdoors. He especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Roxana. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents who raised him: George and Marjorie McClery. In celebration of his life, memorial visitation will be from 4pm until time of memorial services at 5pm on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Rev. Frank Sparks will officiate. Memorials are suggested to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
