Harlan Hogue Jr.

South Roxana: Harlan W. Hogue Jr., 60, passed away at 12:10pm on Friday, October 10, 2014, at VIP Manor in Wood River. He was born on January 9, 1954, in Granite City the son of the Alberta M. (Clark) Hogue of Granite City and the late Harlan W. Hogue Sr. He married the former Barbara Putman on July 27, 1978, in Granite City and she survives. Other survivors include four sisters and brothers in law: Elaine and David Kimbro of Granite City, Joyce Hogue of Louisiana, Kathy Strickland of Louisiana, Betty Jackson of Brownstown, Illinois, four brothers and two sisters in law: Charles and Brenda Hogue of Granite City, Brian Hogue of North Carolina, Johnny and Lynda Hogue of Arizona, and Paul Hogue of Granite City. He was formerly employed as a book writer. In accordance with the wishes of the family, cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials are suggested to the family.
