Harold Bensman

Alton: Harold Bensman, 62, passed away at 8:55am on Thursday, October 12, 2017, at Integrity of Godfrey. He was born December 16, 1954, in Alton, the son of the late Eugene and Virginia (Timpe) Bensman. Survivors include a daughter and son in law: Brandy and Donny McLain of East Alton, a son: Christopher Jones of Alton, four grandchildren: Victoria McLain, Tyler McLain, Eryn McLain, Katie Kopsie, a sister: Patricia Lilley of Alton, a niece: Christy Lilley, two great nieces: Luna, Lucy, and a great nephew: Jude. Harold enjoyed fishing and hunting. In accordance with his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
