Harry L. Harvey Jr., 38, passed away at 11:30am on Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at his residence. He was born on September 2, 1974, in St. Louis, Missouri the son of Harry L. Harvey Sr. and Linda Rothe - Morgan. He married the former Shelly Kay Foiles on December 6, 1997, in East Alton and she survives. Other survivors include his father Harry Sr. of East Alton, his mother and step - father: Linda and Randy Morgan of Benld, Illinois, one daughter: Cassidy Harvey, two sons: Graham Harvey and Hayden Harvey all of the home, 3 half brothers: Kenny McMillan, Harry Harvey II, Garrett Harvey, his father in law and mother in law: Stanley and Karen Foiles of East Alton, a sister in law and brother in law: Lori and Matt Newman of Rosewood Heights, a brother in law: John Foiles and Brandy Dickerson of Caseyville, Illinois, one nephew: Kaden Foiles, and a niece: Zoe McMillan. He was employed at DataTronics in Alton as an account manager. He was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church of East Alton, where he taught Sunday School, helped with Vacation Bible School, served on committees, and volunteered at church camp. He was a coach for the Little Eagles Football. He was a graduate of Illinois College in Jacksonville, Illinois where he was a member of the Pi Pi Rho Literary Society. He was an avid Miami Dolphins fan. In celebration of his life, memorial visitation will be from 10am until time of memorial services at 3pm on Saturday, June 29, 2013, at the 1st United Methodist Church of East Alton. Pastor Kim Stuby will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Educational Fund for Cassidy, Graham, and Hayden Harvey in care of Shelly Harvey and will be accepted at the church.
