Helen Elizabeth Clark

Alton: Helen Elizabeth Clark, 82, passed away at 11:48am on Sunday, July 10, 2016, in the emergency room at Alton Memorial Hospital. She was born on June 2, 1934, in Terra Haute, Indiana, the daughter of the late William and Margaret (Buck) Stott. She married Gordon Clark and he survives. Other survivors include two daughters: Rhonda Clark of Bethalto, Regina Stewart and her companion: Keith Hall of Godfrey, a son and daughter in law: Brian and Sharon Clark of Alhambra, five grandchildren: Amy (Jason) Fischer, Erin (Matt) Scheibel, Sam Clark, Dustin Willard and his fiancée: Shannon Drew, Trisha Clark and her companion: Brandon Weekley, five great grandchildren: Ava Jane Fischer, Aiden Fischer, Elijah Scheibel, Eleanor Scheibel, Josiah Scheibel, one sister and brother in law: Doris and Norman Hammond of Virginia, and many nieces and nephews. A homemaker, she loved spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son: Kevin Clark and eleven brothers and sisters. In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
