Jackie Leurayne Roberson passed away September 18, 2025, with loving family by her side. Born on November 21, 1952, in Granite City, Jackie was an incredible mother, grandmother, and friend. She was the heart and soul of her family, known for her compassion, caring personality, and always doing for others.

Survived by her children: Courtney and Chris Hester of Roxana, Jeryn and Kevin Fernholz of Leawood, KS, Jules and Chris Bailey of Edwardsville, Carrington Roberson of East Alton, and Eric and Raelene Roberson of Edwardsville. As well as eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren, Nickolas and Nicole Bailey, Emily, Raechel, and Jacoby Roberson, Kuper, Kael, and Mollie Hester, Finley Fernholz, and Jaxon and Jensen Bailey. As well as a brother in law Dr. G.T. Roberson of Ballwin, MO.

Jackie loved being a part of her grandchildren’s activities. She was always their biggest fan; attending recitals, athletic events, and horse shows. Beyond her role as a mother and grandmother, Jackie was an active volunteer and member of The United Presbyterian Church, LoveJoy United PC, Riverbend Family Ministries, and A Place of Grace. She also spent many years donating her time and passion for helping children in the Roxana School District classrooms.

Preceded in death by: husband Dr. David F. Roberson, son David Ryan Roberson, sister Karen Watkins, and her parents Ralph and Edwa Niepert.

In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held.

Memorials may be made to the United Presbyterian Church of Wood River, BJC Hospice, or A Place of Grace.
