James "Jim" Fehr

Wood River: James E. Fehr, 72, passed away at 12:20am on Sunday, August 16, 2015, at his residence. He was born on July 20, 1943, in Pittsfield, Illinois, the son of the late Edward “Eddie” and Emily (Crawford) Fehr. He married the former Joyce Ann Graham on June 10, 1972, in East Alton, and she survives. Other survivors include one daughter and son in law: Jackie and Mark Smith of Wood River, two grandsons: Jacob and Kaleb Smith, and one sister: Barbara Neese of Colorado. He was employed as a clerk in the warehouse at Olin for 47 years prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Wood River Moose Lodge #1349. In celebration of his life, visitation will be from 9am until time of funeral services at 11am on Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
