West Alton, Missouri: Jason D. Hayes, 33, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2015, as a result of a boating accident. He was born on July 19, 1982, in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of Jolene Barnhart Hayes and the late Robert Douglas Hayes. Survivors include his mother Jolene Compton and her husband: Timothy of Mt. Olive, Illinois, his fiance’: Amy Baker of West Alton, his daughters: Katelyn Harris of Brighton, Kylee Harris of West Alton, his sons: Dakota Hayes of West Alton, Hunter Hayes of Winfield, Missouri, Memphis Hayes of Winfield, Missouri, his step children: Samantha Baker of Maryland Heights, Missouri, Johnnie Baker of Maryland Heights, Missouri, Matthew Gerber of Brighton, his grandchildren: Skylar Smith and Kamden Smith both of Maryland Heights, Missouri, two brothers and sisters in law: Jeremy and Jessie Hayes of Wood River, Nathan and Charlene Hayes of East Alton, one step – sister: Tiffany Wilson of South Roxana. Jason owned and operated Hayes Roofing. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Cremation rites will be accorded. Memorial services will held at 11:30am on Saturday, August 29, 2015, at Beckham’s Boat Ramp. Memorials are suggested to the family.
