Jerry Gossen, Sr.

Jerry L. Gossen, Sr., 59, passed away at 2:03pm on Friday, May 17, 2024, at Bria of Godfrey. He was born on April 8, 1965, in Rock Island, Illinois, the son of the late David Gossen and Jack and Nancy (Johnston) Richardson. Survivors include a daughter and son in law: Brittany and Brian Coulter of South Roxana, a son and daughter in law: Jerry and Ann Gossen, Jr. of Eugene, Oregon, a granddaughter: Arya Venable, a sister and brother in law: Crystal and Jesse Lehnen of Rosewood Heights, two nieces: Aurora and Kyra, a great niece: Azara, and many other extended family and friends.

Jerry worked in many different trades and was most recently a fork lift driver. Jerry was a self - taught mechanic and enjoyed working on cars.

He was preceded in death by his parents: David Gossen and Jack and Nancy Richardson.

A celebration of life will be held from 1pm to 3pm on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at the Wood River Round House.

Memorials are suggested to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
