Jimmy G. Davis, 58, passed away at 11:07am on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at his residence. He was born on May 21, 1966, in Wood River, the son of the late Howard Davis and Della (Iler) . He married the former Tammye Collier on September 28, 2011, in Glen Carbon, and she survives. Other survivors include his children: Jaimee Davis of Alton, Mandy (Brody) Henningsgard of Clarksville, Tennessee, Haley Basden of Granite City, Jimmy (Danielle) Davis, Jr. of East Alton, Brice (Christina) Davis of East Alton, Zachary Moore of Hillsboro, Illinois, Tony (Francesca) Davis of Antioch, Tennessee, Kendall Jones of Pittsfield, Illinois, his grandchildren: Braylin RoseMarie Davis, Kaelyn Mae Davis, Jimmy Michael Davis Jr., Audrina Cheyenne Davis, Kennedi Rose Davis, Javon Humphrey, Jamar Humphrey, Kaiden, Azalea, Amaya, Luca Wilder Henningsgard, Hudson Brody Henningsgard, Alexander Bryan Davidson, Zoe Marie Davidson, a sister, a brother, and many other extended family and friends.

Jimmy was employed for over twenty years as a lead fork lift operator at Geodis in Edwardsville. He loved fishing, cars, was a wonderful servant at Solid Rock Church in Granite City where he was a member and loved the Mighty Men Ministry.

In celebration of his life, memorial services will be held at 2pm on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Pastor Brian Archer will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
