John Eric Wells

Wood River: John Eric Wells, 56, passed away at 9:35am on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at Integrity of Wood River. He was born on January 13, 1962, in Alton, the son of Art and Janet (Hargis) Stawiszynski. Survivors include a daughter and future son in law: Heather Wells and Anthony Stanford of Wood River, a son and daughter in law: John and Star Wells of Wood River, two grandchildren, an expectant grandchild, a sister and brother in law: Pam and Danny Linkeman of Godfrey, a brother and sister in law: Greg and Jamie Wells of Moro, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. John was formerly employed at Atlas Train. In accordance with his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Memorial visitation will be from 5pm to 7pm on Monday, February 26, 2018, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Memorials are suggested to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
