Joseph Eyer

Peoria: Joseph Eyer, 51, formerly of Nilwood, passed away at 2:15pm on Monday, February 14, 2022, at OSF St. Francis Hospital in Peoria. He was born on September 13, 1970, in Springfield, Illinois, the son of the late Charlie and Jackie (Hatalla) Eyer. Survivors include companion Janice Schmitt a daughter: Corrina Eyer (Theodore Williams) of Nilwood, his grandchildren: Bryse Crays, Ethan Crays, Nikolia Eyer – Maberry, Adilyn Greene, Freya Greene, Dayton Horrighs, Landon Aldridge, Ty McKenzie, Preston Easley, Charlotte Easley three sisters: Lori Eyer – Tipps of Girard, Gail Lynn Eyer – Bouillon of Carlinville, Vickie Elaine Eyer – Allsman and her husband: Michael of Apple Valley, California two brothers: Todd and Shelly Hatalla of Girard, Chuck and Angie Eyer of Thayer, many nieces, nephews including Matthew Eyer, his ex-wife Theresa Eyer, Corrina's mother Glenda Carrigan and other extended family and friends. Joseph was employed at Wolf River Express Trucking as a truck driver. In accordance with his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.
