Judy A. Naylor

Brighton: Judy A. Naylor, 74, passed away at 6:42pm on Thursday, June 30, 2016, at OSF St. Anthony’s Hospital in Alton. She was born on June 28, 1942, in Alton, the daughter of the late Alice (Dean) Seets and Jake Seets, Sr. and Marlin Irwin. She married Morris Naylor on March 2, 1962, in Alton, and he preceded her in death on December 11, 1998. Survivors include one son: Chad and Jamie Naylor of Brighton, three daughters and a son in law: Crystal Connoyer of Bethalto, Starlla and Danny Cherry of Brighton, Melody Naylor of East Alton, ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren, four sisters, seven brothers, and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. She worked at Nilo Farms as a cook. She also worked in the kitchen at East Alton Wood River High School. She formerly attended House of Victory Church in Cottage Hills. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son in law: Doug Connoyer, one sister, and two brothers. In celebration of her life, visitation will be from 5pm to 8pm on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at Pitchford Funeral Home in Wood River. Funeral services will be held at 10am on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at the funeral home. Rev. Tim Naylor and Pastor Shea Hughes will officiate. Burial will follow at Upper Alton Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
