Justin Sands

Godfrey: Justin Sands, 26, passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2020, in Austin, Texas. He was born on February 15, 1994, in St. Louis, the son of Greg and Jenni (Sly) Sands of Godfrey. In addition to his parents, survivors include a brother: Jeremy Sands of Kansas City, Missouri, a sister: Josie Sands of Columbia, Missouri, his grandparents: Harold and Pat Sly of Bethalto, Joyce Sands of Godfrey, his two aunts: Tammy Kerby and her husband: Chuck of Plano, Texas, Elizabeth Affsprung – Chandler and her husband: Dennis of Jacksonville Beach, Florida, his cousins: Sara Neely of Godfrey, Benjamin Long of Columbia, Missouri, Jacob Long of Florida, Jessica Affsprung of San Francisco, California, Victoria Affsprung of Jacksonville Beach, Florida, and other many extended family and friends. Justin was employed as an assistant branch manger for Enterprise Rent A Car. He was preceded in death by his grandpa: Ronald Sands and his favorite uncle: Mark Affsprung. In celebration of his life, the family will hold a memorial visitation from 10am until time of memorial mass at 11am on Friday, December 4, 2020, at Holy Angels Parish in Wood River. Father Donald Wolford will be the celebrant. Due to the current Covid – 19 restrictions, face masks will be required and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
