Kathleen "Kathy" Davis

Kathleen “Kathy” Davis, 75, passed away at 12:03pm on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, in the emergency room at OSF St. Anthony’s Hospital in Alton. She was born on December 4, 1947, in East St. Louis, Illinois, the daughter of the late Roger and Marion (Evans) Kurant. She married Glen A. Davis on October 28, 1967, in Collinsville and he preceded her in death on November 11, 2011. Survivors include a daughter and son in law: Carin and Marty Gordon of South Roxana, two sons and daughters in law: Glen and Nina Davis of Avon, Indiana, James and Lisa Davis of Collinsville, Illinois, six grandchildren: Marty (Cassi Fremder) Gordon, Katie (Liam Walker) Gordon, Victoria (Stevie Ellingboe) Davis, Anna (Matthew Amheiser) Davis, James (Kari) Davis Jr., Seth (Kennedy) Davis, seven great grandchildren, two sisters and a brother in law: Suzy and Harold Karraker of Collinsville, Julaine Kurant of Collinsville, a brother and sister in law: John and Kris Kurant of Collinsville, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.

Kathy was formerly employed as a clerk at Mercantile Trust in St. Louis and later at Charlie’s Market in South Roxana.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister: Mary Rushing.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.
